The Apps' Collection Os Miúdos encompasses a myriad of playful educational contents which is the responsibility and property of the Porto Editora Group.
The usage of these applications implies the acceptance of the Terms and Access Conditions which are described hereafter. If you do not agree to the Terms and Access Conditions, you should not subscribe to and/or use the applications. As the availability of this application depends on the usage of a service provided by a third party (Microsoft Windows® Store), the Porto Editora Group might be obliged to alter the Terms and Access Conditions at any time. Please check this page regularly to verify if any alterations were made. The usage of the applications after the update of the Terms and Access Conditions implies their acceptance.
All the contents, interface, functionalities, software and other elements of the Apps' Collection Os Miúdos are intellectual property of the Porto Editora Group or were duly licensed to that effect and are thus protected by the Copyright and Associated Rights Code and other applicable legislation, as well as international treaties, so the user should use them as any other material protected by copyright (books, films, CDs, etc.), in which the copying, reproduction, diffusion, modification, publication or any other commercial or non-commercial usage of any content on this application is forbidden. Exceptions to this interdiction are the free usages authorized by law, namely the right to quote, provided its origin is clearly identified and the copy of contents exclusively for personal usage, maintaining the Porto Editora Group or the legitimate authors in question as the copyright holders.
The Porto Editora Group is not liable for: any damage caused to the user, for illegal or improper usage of The Apps' Collection Os Miúdos and/or the information provided; illegal or improper conduct or behaviour of the service subscribers; damage caused by incorrect interpretation or content errors; damage as a result of voluntary or involuntary interruptions of the service. Also, the Porto Editora Group does not guarantee the inexistence of errors, that the errors are corrected, and that the application, as well as the host server, is free from viruses or any other harmful agents.
The Porto Editora Group guarantees that the web services that support this product, and which are of its exclusive responsibility, will be operational, at least, until 31 December 2013.
The Porto Editora Group recognises the importance of protecting the privacy of the personal information of the users of The Apps' Collection Os Miúdos .
The functionalities, objectives, and information gathered are described here:
1) Sending information: in the information sending form concerning the launching of new stories, the application collects the name and the email of the user. This data is crucial so that it is possible, if necessary, to contact the user. Additionally, without prejudice to the fulfilment of the applicable law in these matters, we also aim to present other services and/or products developed by this company and that, in some way, are interesting for these users. The Porto Editora Group will not sell or make this information available to a third party, being guaranteed under the law the right of access, rectification and cancellation of any datum concerning the user , personally or in writing, via the address on the “Contacts” page on the website www.portoeditora.pt.
2) Anomaly reports: regarding some types of operational malfunctions, the application collects information about the context (such as description, trace, etc.). This information is sent anonymously and without registering any data concerning the user’s location to the management services of the application.
The Porto Editora Group reserves the right to change the rates and other subscription conditions at any time, notifying the users through the presentation of a warning in this location. The Porto Editora Group reserves the right to perform periodic maintenance and update tasks to the mobile applications to introduce improvements in terms of navigability.
Law e jurisdiction
The Apps' Collection Os Miúdos is operational in accordance with Portuguese laws. Any dispute related to the Apps' Collection Os Miúdos shall be solely submitted to the applicable legislation in the Portuguese courts and tribunals.
